In memory of Vicente Ramón Devesa Barber

January 16, 2025

January 16 was the saddest day of my life.

That day we were all heartbroken in Cristalería Altea. Vicente Ramón Devesa Barber left us at the age of 69, and with him went an essential part of our history.

Losing the historic head of Civil Protection is hard for Altea, but for us the pain is infinite. Because we lose our brother, our brother-in-law and my dear uncle. We lose our "MacGyver", that man who had a solution for everything except for this goodbye.

Uncle, thank you for being our teacher, our partner and our friend. Your kindness and wit will always live on in this workshop that was your home.

We will never forget you. Rest in peace.
